MICHAEL DA TORRE
(Abel Znorko) has appeared in over 300 productions including stage, screen, and TV. Favorite roles include Polonius in HAMLET, King Arthur in CAMELOT, Macbeth in MACBETH and most recently Mack the Knife in THREEPENNY OPERA.

STEPHEN TEMPERLEY (Erik Larsen) Before coming to live in the U.S. Stephen appeared in VERY GOOD EDDIE and HAPPY END in London’s West End, as well as with various regional companies and on TV. On Broadway he played Eugene Fodor in the original company of CRAZY FOR YOU. Off-Broadway work includes several productions for New York’s Public Theater including the Joe Orton musical UP AGAINST IT. In the U.S. he has played leading roles for many resident theatres around the country playing everything from Macbett in Ionesco’s play of the same name to Brian Runnicles in NO SEX PLEASE WE'RE BRITISH (a personal favorite). Recent work has ranged from Scrooge at the McCarter in Princeton, Sir Joseph in H.M.S. PINAFORE at the Berkshire Theatre Festival and Dr Caius in the recent production of LONE STAR LOVE at the Great Lakes Theatre Festival. As a writer, his plays have been seen in and around New York and in Los Angeles where he was part of the first HBO New Writers Festival. Recently, his play THE WEIGHT OF TEARS was seen at Theatresounds. His new play, MUSICALE, is sceduled for an off-Broadway production in October.

NICOLA SHEARA (Director) has been an actress and director on Broadway, Off Broadway and across the country for over 30 years. Hudson Valley audiences have seen her work as an actress in LOVE LETTERS and COLLECTED STORIES for Performing Arts of Woodstock and as a director of THREEPENNY OPERA at the Bardavon; NUNSENSE at Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center; I HATE HAMLET at Shadowlands, THE GREAT NEBULA IN ORION for the Woodstock Fringe; and for PAW: WENCESLAS SQUARE, NECESSARY TARGETS, and most recently the successful production of PROOF. Ms. Sheara is the Artistic Director of TheaterSounds, and happily welcomes you all to our 20th reading.

KEN THOMPSON has appeared in the Hudson Valley area in Performing Arts of Woodstock's WENCESLAS SQUARE, ZOO STORY at UPAC's Back Alley Theatre, Shadowland's Social Security and THE MOUSETRAP; and Law & Order: SVU.
