NICOLA SHEARA has performed on Broadway in GRAPES OF WRATH (TONY Award - Best Play); in the National Tour of NICHOLAS NICKLEBY (BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS Award - Cleveland Critics Circle); Regional Theatre - NJ Shakespeare Festival COUNTRY GIRL - BEST ACTRESS Nomination); Actors Theatre of Louisville - CRIMES OF THE HEART (World Premiere with Kathy Bates); Missouri Repertory Theater - BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS (Best Leading Actress Nomination), and in regional theaters across the country from the Alley to the Walnut. Daytime serials include LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING, LOVING. Hudson Valley audiences have seen her work as an actress most recently in the Woodstock Fringe production of THE DAYS ARE AS GRASS by Carol Hall, directed by Vivian Matalon, and in LOVE LETTERS and COLLECTED STORIES for Performing Arts of Woodstock. Nicola directed the productions of PROOF and ALL MY SONS recently at PAW and later this season will direct ART for Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center.

LOU TRAPANI is artistic and managing director of The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck and serves on The CENTER’s board of directors as chair of the programming committee. He also serves on the boards of the Rhinebeck Theatre Society and the Gilbert and Sullivan Musical Theatre Company and is the official mentor to the Rhinebeck Unplugged Student Theatre. In addition to directing The CENTER’s artistic and administrative affairs, Lou also teaches introductory theatre courses at the Bulkeley Middle School in Rhinebeck and at the Haviland Middle School in Hyde Park. Since becoming artistic and managing director of The CENTER, he has also taught scene study courses for adults and teens at The CENTER, has coached privately, and has produced/designed/directed/stage managed/and/or acted in 35 of The CENTER’s productions. Most notable among these were Gian Carol Menotti’s “The Medium” (designer/director), Moliere’s “Tartuffe” (producer/designer/director/actor), and Tennessee Williams’ “The Glass Menagerie” (designer/director). Lou recently appeared as Grumio in the Rhinebeck Theatre Society’s production of “The Taming of the Shrew” at The CENTER and is currently producing The CENTER’s own presentation of “The Threepenny Opera.”

4PANEL PRODUCTIONS serves as co-producer of Tiny Ninja Theater, which just finished a sold-out run of TINY NINJA THEATER presents HAMLET at P.S. 122 in NYC. Tiny Ninja Theater productions of MACBETH and ROMEO & JULIET have been presented at the Woodstock Fringe and festivals worldwide.
